Why should I use City Guides?

We've all done it - paid a lot of money for a great vacation and then sat in the hotel room trying to figure out a good place to go for a cocktail and then dinner. The last thing you want to do when you should be out enjoying your time in a new city is to be staring at your phone trying to decide if you believe the rating/comments on one place over another. City Guides started by researching the heck out of our vacation destinations before we left and then pulling up those notes when we got there. Then we started sharing those recommended spots with friends and neighbors. Seeking a way to organize all those notes so that we could easily find what we wanted became an app and that is where City Guides came from.

City Guides is an application that delivers curated recommendations of places to eat, places to drink, things to see, things to do, where to shop, where to admire the view, nearest ATMs, pharmacies, hospitals/emergency rooms and great day trips.

How does it do this?

City Guides serves up all this information in an intuitive, easy to use application that tells you the distance to a recommended place, what's open now, hours for recommended places, website links, and addresses with directions (on foot, by car, by bicycle or even by public transportation. There are even one-touch links to summon a Lyft/Uber ride.
